Steven M. Bragg was born on October 5, 1960, in Massachusetts, United State, to Philip Bragg and Elinor Bragg. He obtained Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Maine in 1982. Steven received Master of Business Administration degree from the Babson College a year later, as well as a Master of Finance degree from Bentley College in 1985.
He has written a great number of business books. He provides Western CPE with self-study courses in the areas of accounting and finance, with an emphasis on the practical application of accounting standards and management techniques.
Steven Bragg is the founder of Accounting Tools, Inc. He also manages the Accounting Best Practices podcast. Steven has served as the CFO or controller of both public and private companies and has been a consulting manager with Ernst & Young and an auditor with Deloitte & Touche.
